Branch Cruise 2026

WSS/TSS Solent Cruise 2026

The WSS/TSS private cruise will depart promptly from the Southampton Hythe Ferry Pier Town Quay at 11.15 on 4th July returning for 1815. Passenger numbers may be limited to allow photo opportunities.

For those traveling by car please allow plenty of time as traffic especially when there are cruise ships in the port can be very busy. Also if you intend to park on the Town Quay itself pay attention to the signposting as some spaces are reserved and pay for parking as directed.

If you are traveling by train please allow plenty of time for the bus connection with the Town Quay and or sufficient time to walk from Southampton Central to the Town Quay especially if it is hot weather.

The route taken for the 7 hour cruise will be dependant on prevailing weather conditions and shipping movements but it is usually timed to pass outbound cruise vessels at close quarters that depart late afternoon. The vessel has an open deck area upstairs and an enclosed saloon with tables.

Light refreshments and drinks are available onboard the cruise vessel at cost but a packed lunch of your own is advised. Toilets are available onboard on the main deck at the aft end of the saloon.

Payment cannot be made on the day so please let the treasurer have your cheques for £40 per adult in advance. The tour organiser for the World Ship Society is Andrew Hogg 07495 774268.
